This page is a resource guide, not a file folder. Each PDF below is a reference copy officers often keep beside missal writing — High Court packing notes, investigation checklists, statute copies, and sample letters. Read the short note first, then open the file. These are not a substitute for gazettes or your district standing orders. Related articles: Resources and complete missal writing guide.

Last updated: September 2026

HR Solutions (Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan) hosts these files as a convenience. We did not author the statutes. Confirm the current text with sources before you rely on a section in court.

Related to missal مسل سے متعلق

Use these when you are building or checking a case file. Sample MPW layouts live on Sample Forms.

Drafted Missal Letter

A model covering letter for a computerised missal. Officers use it when sending a file onward so the receiving desk sees FIR number, station, and what is enclosed. Adapt the wording to your district; do not paste it blindly over live facts.

High Court Instructions for Missals

Lahore High Court style directions on how a missal should be arranged and what must not be missing. Read this before you print the index and chalan so paper order matches court expectation. Pair it with police documentation legal framework.

Investigation Checks for Missal

A checklist of investigation steps that should appear in the file. Use it as a self-audit before you mark the case ready for chalan, not as a substitute for the zimni itself.

Istigasa jaat

Notes on istigasa (complaint / request) papers that often sit with the missal. Helpful when the file contains applications that started or revived the investigation.

Form 25-35 A

Murder / unnatural death related Form A. Complete it from the scene and medical facts, then keep a copy in the missal. MPW does not replace this form; it helps you keep FIR data consistent beside it.

Form 25-35 B

Companion Form B for the same class of cases. Fill after A when your standing order requires both. Check names and FIR number against the MPW case record.

Form 25-35 C

Form C in the 25-35 set. Use when the investigation needs the third sheet (often post-mortem or follow-up particulars). Do not mix A/B/C across different FIRs.

Injury Chart

Body diagram for recording injuries. Attach it when hurt or hurt-to-death cases need a visual record for the medico-legal file. Keep it aligned with the ML report, not with guesswork.

Annexure D

A supporting annex often used with investigation papers. Confirm with your unit whether this annexure number matches your current circular before you print it as the “” sheet.

Naqsha Makhmori (alcohol)

Sketch / naqsha used in drinking-related recoveries. Site maps in MPW are a different form; this PDF is the specialised drinking-case layout some stations still require.

Request for Assistance (RFA) proforma

Used when you need help from another district or unit (raid, arrest, inquiry). Fill originating FIR, what you need, and the legal basis. MPW also has an RFA-style form sample on the forms page.

SOP for unidentified dead bodies

Standing procedure for unidentified bodies: photographs, fingerprints, Edhi/welfare notices, and file papers. Follow your district SOP if it differs; this copy is a study reference.

All about narcotics cases

Practical notes on narcotics investigation paperwork (recovery, samples, witnesses). Use it to check that the missal story matches the chemical examiner trail. Not a substitute for the Control of Narcotic Substances Act as in force.

Narcotics Q&A

Question-and-answer drill for narcotics files. Useful before court or a supervisory inspection so you can explain recovery, seal, and chain of custody in plain language.

Questions for evidence in court

Sample questions investigators may face when producing the file. Practise with your own FIR facts; do not memorise answers that do not match the zimni.

Tenants form

Tenant / rent related proforma some police offices keep for local verification. Not an MPW case form; include it only when the investigation actually needs tenancy particulars.

Books and policies کتابیں اور پالیسیاں

Statute PDFs here are English or Urdu copies for desktop reference. Always check the latest text. We do not paste the full codes on this website.

Pakistan Penal Code (English)

PPC text used to identify offence sections when writing FIR and chalan. Search the PDF for the section number; write the section in MPW as registered, not as a guess. See also legal framework article.

Code of Criminal Procedure (English)

CrPC governs investigation powers, FIR (including section 154 in the code as applicable), arrest papers, and how a chalan reaches court. Keep this beside MPW when you choose warrant, 160, or proclamation forms.

Anti-Rape Act (Urdu)

Urdu copy of anti-rape legislation for officers handling those files. Special reporting and medical steps apply; follow current Punjab Police / federal instructions, not only this PDF.

CPC Schedule II offences and punishment

Schedule of offences and punishments used as a quick lookup. Confirm bailability and court with your reader, not from memory of an old printout.

Leave rules

Service leave rules for police employees. Not part of a criminal missal; useful when welfare or administration questions come up in the same office.

Paternity leave rules

Paternity leave circular for government / police staff. Keep it with other HR papers, not inside an FIR file.

Head money policy criteria

Criteria for head-money / reward claims. Use when a proclamation or PO file later supports a claim; it does not replace the PO or proclamation forms in MPW.

Reference documents حوالہ دستاویزات

Government employee scholarship form

Welfare scholarship application for employees’ children. Completely separate from missal writing; listed here because the same offices often print both kinds of paper.

Punjab Police welfare MOUs

Memoranda of understanding on welfare facilities. Reference for officers advising colleagues; not an investigation exhibit unless a specific inquiry cites it.

Past paper — Homicide Investigation Unit

Study paper for HIU / IO promotion or selection. Use it to practise investigation thinking; do not copy answers into a live zimni.

Past paper — NIU

Narcotics Investigation Unit style paper. Complements the narcotics PDFs above for training, not for filling MPW templates.

Past paper — SSOIU

Special / SSOIU investigation officer paper. Training only.

Past paper — Investigation Officer

General IO paper covering FIR, evidence, and file quality. A good companion to common investigation mistakes.

Miscellaneous متفرق

Pakistan Police telephone directory

Contact numbers for police offices. Numbers go out of date; confirm before you rely on a listing for an call. Not a substitute for your district wireless room.

Edhi centres in Punjab

List of Edhi centres, often used with unidentified-body SOPs and welfare referrals. Verify the nearest centre by phone; lists drift.
